A bit of history.
"Walking Boss" means a man
who cruises the woods and overseas
the duties of the day to day work of
the logging crews. Phonse Roby was a
famous walking boss for the
Connecticut Valley Lumber Co. in the
late 1800's and is pictured in the
Walking Boss Logo. He is the great
grandfather of Darlene Belknap who
makes these great suspenders.

They won't let you down! We discovered
these stylish, yet very rugged suspenders while driving the
country roads of the Northeast
Kingdom of Vermont (a very snowy
place in winter). We stopped at
a country store and met
Darlene, the
proprietor, who also happens to make
suspenders. She manufactures them using components made in
the USA including 2" wide top grade
elastic and black oxide "piranha"
clips that won't let go of your
pants. Great for ski pants. $15.00 plus
$3.50 for shipping. In-stock and
will be shipped within two business
days.
