An amazing collection of Jud's poems, stories,
Maine humor and music including the original commercial
version of "Daisy a Day" as well as
an impromptu rendition. Some of our
other favorites include a story
about a hunting "bird horse" and the songs
"When I Get It Right" and "The Best
Part of Leaving is Going Home".
There are 19 selections in all.
Features the Coplin Kitchen Band
with Jud playing banjo, piano and
tenor guitar. Compiled in 2006 using
live recordings made at the Winter's
Inn in
Kingfield Maine in 1978. Very
good, but not perfect sound quality.

was a singer, song writer and story teller who helped make
Maine, and its Western Mountain region in
particular, famous. He became a
legend in his own right with his hit song
"Daisy a Day" and regular
appearances on Laugh-in and other TV
shows before his untimely
death flying an antique airplane he
was restoring. |
