One afternoon as the snow was piling up outside, we took a break and listened to his Dad's music. I knew instantly that Jud's music was perfect for my store".

Some of our other favorites include a story about a hunting "bird horse" and the songs "When I Get It Right" and "The Best Part of Leaving is Going Home". There are 19 selections in all. Features the Coplin Kitchen Band with Jud playing banjo, piano and tenor guitar. Compiled using live recordings made at the Winter's Inn in Kingfield Maine in 1978. Very good, but not perfect sound quality.

Vintage Maine. Jud Strunk was a singer, song writer and story teller who helped make the Western Mountain region of Maine famous. He became a legend in his own right with his hit song "Daisy a Day" and regular appearances on Laugh-in and other TV shows before his untimely death flying an antique airplane he was restoring.
