Our snowshoe furniture is
individually hand-crafted at a family run workshop in the
foothills of Vermont's Green Mountains. The
frames are made from hand-picked select Vermont
hardwoods such as white ash which is famed for its ability to bend without
losing strength. The lacing is made from the finest rawhide
and is tightly woven by hand. Everything, including
the lacing, is sprayed three times with a
water-based lacquer creating a lasting,
beautiful natural finish. You can also get our
snowshoe furniture with hand-rubbed walnut stain
which is applied prior to the lacquering. Each
item is fully assembled prior to shipment to
insure that all of its parts mesh perfectly
together. It is then partially disassembled to
protect it in transit and to save on shipping
costs.
We currently have 2 classic snowshoe rockers
in-stock. The lead time for other items is
about 3 weeks. Shipping in the continental U.S. ranges from
$19.00 to $49.00 per item depending on its
weight.
