The only "weighted"
fitness
poles on the market. Nordic
Trekkers are weight adjustable by
putting water or sand into the
elliptical tanks that surround the
bottoms of the poles. The height of the poles can
also be adjusted; from about 47" to
55". The longer and/or heavier the pole, the more
rigorous the workout. Hiking, power
walking or casual walking with
Nordic Trekkers is an all-around
exercise that works your entire
body; legs, thighs, abs, buttocks,
arm, back and neck. Use them
year-round! Each pair comes
with with a set of steel tips that
can be inserted into the bases of
the rubber feet when it's snowy or
icy.
Highly recommended for rehab applications
too! Doctors
and physical therapists love them because the
shock absorption feature of the rubber feet reduces the impact and
force on the joints and ligaments.
