This

first two weeks of a newborn fawn's life. Many of the
woodland creatures think this little fellow (aka Tiny
Star) is lost, but
he's not. He's listening to his mother and staying
hidden, relying on his spots and being scentless to
protect him from the dangers of the forest. The little
fawn must not be tempted to explore his surroundings
before it is his time, so he tells his forest friends
his mother will be back...and she will. Hardcover; 48 full color pages.
In the movie version,
Shirley (an old box turtle) and Fernando (a very lost
raccoon) learn all about this little fawn who
sleeps in the woods. The DVD contains award winning photography, original songs
and fun, special features including "Sounds of the
Forest", an interactive game.
