Scandinavian Kicksleds
Kicksleds are in common use in Finland, Norway and Sweden and are becoming more and more popular in the USA. They can be used for casual recreation, racing, aerobic exercise, family fun (such as taking kids for a snow ride) or as dog sleds. Ice fishermen use them to cart their equipment out onto frozen lakes and then as a seat while fishing.

Kicksleds from SnowSource: Every kicksled purchased from SnowSource comes FULLY-EQUIPPED and includes (1) a pair of extra-wide North American style plastic foot supports that stay on the runners more securely than the traditional, skinny steel Scandinavian foot supports and (2) a pair of 35mm wide plastic snow runners that attach to the metal runners so that the sled will glide better on snow. More info: The kicksleds we sell are manufactured in Sweden by Vansbro Sparkfabrik. They're made with a clear varnished birch wood frame and spring steel runners, are foldable for easy transportation and storage and come fully-equipped with a pair of extra-wide plastic foot supports and a pair of 35mm plastic snow runners. High quality, functional and rugged!

Shipping and availability: Ground shipping in the continental U.S. is $34.50 per kicksled and $5.00 for child loops and hammocks. Email or call us to arrange for shipping to Alaska or Canada which typically costs an additional $10.00 to $20.00. Orders placed today will be shipped in 3-4 business days.
