History of this picture.
The start of several days, and
possibly weeks of strenuous, long
hours in the saddle. This classic
Huffman photograph pictures the cow
hands on their way to set up camp
with their remuda of geldings
trailing behind. Also seen are two,
of what appear to be, bed wagons
that were important to any roundup
operation carrying bedrolls, water
barrels, extra coats and slickers,
rope, etc.
One-of-a-kind. Every copy
of this picture ordered from us will
be individually hand-made and will
in some small way be different from
every other print made even though
multiples may be produced from the
same negative. The artistic and
historical value of this photograph
will endure for years to come.
