Hammerhead Sleds was started with the goal of re-creating the excitement evoked by sledding a century ago, when the Flexible Flyer was first marketed. To attract new sledders and re-connect with old ones, the company took the challenge of bringing an ancient technology up to date using new-age materials, manufacturing techniques, and user experiences.

After numerous trashed prototypes, multiple patent applications and intense industrial design work, Hammerhead unveiled the Hammerhead Pro XLD, the radical new gravity snow sled. It rocks the backyard jib park and flies down the ski slope. The Pro XLD looks cool and carves like a knife. Nothing like it exists. Hot technology including mesh seating, a 6063 aluminum frame, hair trigger steering system, and custom deep powder carving skis make it untouchable.
