A
brand new winter sport!
Invented and patented by Odd G.
Burmo of Norway, the XC-Ice is
being introduced by SnowSource to
cross-country skiers and ice skaters
in the USA. The XC-Ice was
engineered to combine the
fun and skills of both sports. The
dual front and rear blades make
skating over natural ice with cracks
much easier. And the
body of the XC-Ice is flexible and
springy like a cross-country ski. In fact,
the XC-Ice is compatible with the
same types of bindings, boots and
poles
that are used for cross-country skiing.
In Scandinavian
countries, there
are rinks devoted exclusively to
XC-Icing. We haven't seen any in the
US yet, but any frozen lake, river
or canal makes for a perfect
XC-Ice venue.
Price, shipping and availability. $125.00
per pair plus $9.50 for shipping in
the USA or Canada. In-stock and
will be shipped within two business
days.
Email or
call us if you need expedited
shipping. Comes with a
FREE
carrying case as shown
below.
Boots, bindings, mounting and
poles. Most local ski shops will help
you choose and mount bindings. If
you're already a cross-country
skier, we recommend matching your current
bindings on your XC-Ice and using
your
boots and poles interchangeably.
