The first mechanical rain gauge of its kind. Measures up to 5" of rain in 1/5" increments using a float and lever to mechanically exaggerate the readings and improve accuracy and visibility. The gauge will turn into the wind to ensure the most accurate measurement or can be tightened down to fix its location. The body is solid brass and the pointer is stainless steel for contrast.
